This series of paintings is inspired by my mother’s death, the spiritual journey grief has taken me on, and the lessons I have learned along the way. I have come to realize that there are no beginnings or endings, nothing is final or fixed.

Using acrylic paint on canvas, my work seeks to explore what I believe it means to be human, and how many aspects of modern life (as pre-historic flesh-vessels living in a technologically-advanced world) have ceased to make sense in my grief. We are spiritual creatures living in a spiritually devoid time, I want my art to reconnect people to the spirit.
