As a graphic designer and illustrator, I am inspired by the cultural, social, and political landscapes of our modern world. I am deeply critical of where our (the West’s) thirst for technological advancement and power has taken humankind. I am angry at the lack of care for our most vulnerable lifeforms on this planet, this anger fuels my practice.

 

My creative practice is also informed by my own values and ideals, which are deeply rooted in spirituality. To me, spirituality simply means believing in a power greater than myself - sometimes this looks like the power of love, other times it is the power of nature or the power of connection.

 

Using graphic design and illustration, I am attempting to lift a mirror to humanity. I believe that all of us humans are spiritual creatures, but we are living in a spiritually devoid time. I want my art to awaken and reconnect people to the spirit.
